SYS Needs Volunteers!
Because Shrewsbury Youth Soccer is comprised entirely of volunteers, we always need parental assistance. We request that you sign up to volunteer for one of the positions listed on the player registration form.
How to Help SYS...
- Become a Coach or Assistant Coach
We are especially seeking coaches and assistant coaches. For new coaches, SYS provides a coaching clinic at the start of each season. The SYS coaching clinic prepares a parent who is interested, but inexperienced to coach a youth soccer team. One or two assistants may work together on one team. SYS also provides resources online in the coaches section of this website.
We also need referees. SYS provides training and pay to our student referees. Please see the referees section of this website for more information.
