Mass Youth Soccer Executive Director, John Burrill passed away
on March 29th
John was a tireless advocate of GOALS, a program run through Mass Youth Soccer which provides free summer soccer to over 3,000 inner city youth throughout Massachusetts every year.

Dube visits Shrewsbury
As part of the growing relationship between the New England Revolution and
Shrewsbury Youth Soccer, Rev's Forward
Kheli Dube came to Shrewsbury on sunny Saturday to sign autographs and meet
soccer fans and players of all ages. His visit and the entire afternoon
was a huge success!

FREE Used Sports Equipment for Those IN NEED
Nicole Arsenis, a Senior at Westborough High School this Fall, is
a Senior Girl Scout working on her Gold Award.
She has been working on her project all summer and has collected
a lot of equipment and now is in the process of contacting
organizations to donate it to families who cannot afford to purchase
this equipment for their children to play youth sports.
If anyone is in need of some gently used sporting equipment, or

A Job Well Done by Jeff Doyle and His Fellow Eagle Scouts in Troop 227!!
For his big, end-of-year Eagle Project, Shrewsbury Eagle Scout
Jeff Doyle organized a fun, spirited day of unity, hard work and
community-building that everyone involved in Shrewsbury Youth Soccer
— the SYS Board members, the coaches, the players and the parents —
will never forget! We also wish to thank David of Shrewsbury Lumber
for his stellar leadership, mentorship and guidance on a
complicated, ambitious and ultimately wonderfully successful
project.

Shrewsbury Girls Win Natick Soccer Tournament
October 10, 2007
The "Lady Hurricanes" of Shrewsbury, Mass. won the 26th annual
Division One Natick Soccer Tournament for the Girls U-14 division.
Shrewsbury went 3-0 in the tournament -- which also featured Agawam,
Portsmouth, Natick, two teams from Wellesley, Northborough and
Holliston -- to remain unbeaten this fall at 5-0-1.
